My girls

Growing up with younger sisters (no brothers) was quite the experience. There was hair pulling, teasing, fighting, name calling, etc. We had many black eyes, fat lips and bruises to match the butt chewing we would get from our mom when she found out what had happened. So, here I am...sitting here listening to my girls upstairs fighting and I'm wondering...WHY???

I'm wondering WHY do girls fight....what makes them not want to get along....who said that giving girls lots and lots of hormones so that the mood swings were CrAzY was a good thing???? GEEEZZZ!!!! I just don't get it.

Anywhoo...I love my girls and maybe, just MAYBE one day, they will love to NOT fight!

Enough talking about the extra curricular activities of my children. It's time for updates!

Life around the McKay home is busy. David is working hard and works extra hours as needed. He has found a new hobby so when he isn't working, he spends time doing that. The girls are back to school and both now have activities at the church (Hannah just turned 8 last month and Sheridan is almost 14) after school so they are staying occupied. Work for me is STILL nutso but it's keeping me sane so it's all good.

Last year, we remodeled our home. We gutted the upstairs bathroom and kitchen and completely remodeled those rooms. We finished the basement which gave David and I some space to do our things (David has a big desk where he can work on the bills, browse the internet and learn all about his new hobby) and I have the other side of room for all of my craft materials and desks. I'm in the process of starting a card business so having my space is sooo helpful! :D Anyways...we also finished the bathroom downstairs, put in a new deck (a MUST!) and had vinyl siding put on the house. YAY!!! It's no longer a big, green house!

Well, I need to take off and make sure things get done before the kids head off to bed. Night!!!
