Spring!!!

There is so much about Spring that I love! Here!!! I'll even make you a list!!!

Flowers....flowers make me feel alive! They make me smile when I look at the beautiful shapes and colors that our Heavenly Father has given them.

Rain showers...rain showers remind me of my Grandpa Evans. I never have known anyone who has loved nature more than Grandpa. He loved to hear the birds sing and sit on the front porch and watch the storms go by. He truly was grateful for what Heavenly Father gave us.

Green grass...I love green grass. I love the smell of freshly mown grass...even though it makes me sneeze like crazy!

Our company product show...I LOVE our product show!!! It's so much fun to see all of the people I work with from other states. Over the last 13 years, I have met so many people and made so many great friends. This year our show is a 50's theme. We get to dress up in poodle skirts, "Grease" attire, greaser jackets...you name it. This year, we are even having some of our customers bring in their vintage cars so yeah, I guess we are even having a "car" show. It's going to be soo much fun!

Yesterday, my mom and I shopped for all of the things that we need for my poodle skirt. It's going to be navy blue with a red (yes, red....none of the other colors that were available looked good with the blue) poodle with white fur and a red crinoline slip for underneath. Now, all I have to look for are white tennies, socks, shirt and a scarf. I also need to play with my hair and see if I can get it to look 50's style. It's all going to be sooo much fun!!!

New "job" opportunities...first of all, NO, I'm not quitting my job. I LOVE my job. I just have another opportunity to make cards and scrapbooks and have them published online and maybe one day soon, in magazines. As you may know, I have been crafting away for many years and having a ball! Once a month I get together with a few of my girlfriends and we craft all night. It's so much fun! Well, we all heard about a craft supply company here in Utah who was looking for customers who would like to be designers. BUT OF COURSE!!! I'm going to get involved! I immediately went home, sent them an email and heard back from them later the next day that they wanted me to design some things with their products. My friends are also doing things for the company so now we have MORE things that we can do together. So much fun!!!!!

My yard...This year, I'm hoping that things work out a bit better overall so I can have a lovely yard. I need help (Anyone???Anyone???) getting it landscaped and fixed up as much as I can so my dog can play outside WITH my kids. Maybe my house wouldn't feel so cramped if they would go outside every once in a while!!!

My birthday...My b-day is in May. I love May. I love everything about May. The birthstone for May babies is emerald. Green is one of my favorite colors. Mother's Day. I was born on Mother's Day.I think it's cool because I was my mom's FIRST Mother's Day gift. Ha!

These are just SOME of the things that I love about Spring. I'm going to try to lose some weight this year. Cross your fingers! I've put on WAY too much weight and need to get rid of it FAST!

Now, I must find out why my kids are fighting. Not one of my favorite sounds in my world....actually it's the LEAST favorite sound!
